Location: Leiston, Suffolk (Onsite - 5 days a week).

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum , plus benefits.


Benefits include:


• Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.
• Bonus: Up to 5% annual bonus.
• Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5% employee contribution -15%  employer contribution.

We are now seeking experienced Project Managers, ideally from construction, commercial, or major infrastructure sectors, to support the Site Establishment team during an exciting and pivotal phase of the project.


The Role


As a Delivery Project Manager- Site Establishment, you will lead and coordinate the full life cycle delivery of assigned contracts or work packages across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities.


Your leadership will ensure that all work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also play a key role in effective contractor management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting across multiple workstreams.


Key Responsibilities


Lead, manage, and coordinate on-site project activities to ensure programme, cost and quality targets are achieved.
Drive project performance using best‑practice project management methodologies.
Manage contractors and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and productivity.
Work collaboratively with the Senior Project Manager, Commercial and Procurement teams to develop sourcing strategies and tender documentation.
Provide comprehensive weekly and monthly reporting, including updates on H&S, progress, cost, environmental performance, stakeholder engagement and production rates.
Respond to tender clarifications, participate in supplier meetings, and contribute to technical tender reviews.
Work cross‑functionally with other projects and programmes to ensure alignment and adoption of best practices.
Identify and manage risks proactively, ensuring smooth progression of project activities from initiation to delivery.


What We’re Looking For


Proven Project Management experience in major construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects (approx. £18m–£100m+).
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Demonstrable experience working under NEC contracts in multi-programme environments.
Relevant qualifications such as NEC3/4, civil engineering, construction management, project management, or similar.
Ability to manage complex issues, drive performance, and maintain momentum in a fast‑paced environment.
Excellent problem‑solving abilities with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
Strong experience with programme development and resource management.
Ability to foster collaboration within local supply chain networks and support a “one team” ethos.
