Data Modeller (Sizewell C)

Location: Based in London on a hybrid basis, with travel to Suffolk as required.
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Salary: Competitive dependant on experience, plus benefits
Benefits include:
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.
Bonus: 5% annual bonus.
Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5% employee contribution 15% employer contribution.
Sizewell C is entering an exciting phase of growth as we mature into an independent organisation and continue building one of the UK’s largest and most important energy projects. We’re looking for a senior culture specialist who can help shape the organisation we want to become.
This role sits at the heart of our HR function and focuses on creating a company-wide culture that is inclusive, high performing and firmly rooted in nuclear safety. You’ll work closely with the Executive Team, Corporate Strategy, Maturity colleagues and the wider HR community to lead cultural transformation, develop our new employee value proposition, and embed the behaviours that will carry us through decades of delivery.
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Data Modeller to join our team at Sizewell C to help unlock the value of our data. In this role, you will work alongside technical experts within our Data Centre of Excellence to design and develop robust data models that underpin a series of high-value data products for SZC and its supply chain. Your work will ensure that project data is structured, consistent, and accessible, enabling informed decision-making across the organisation.
About You
Experience in data modelling across large-scale or highly regulated environments (infrastructure, engineering, energy or similar).
Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data warehousing, and modelling techniques.
Familiarity with Data Modelling tooling (e.g. ERWIN) and Azure data services (including Data Lake and Azure Databricks).
Experience in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models, to support business intelligence, analytics, and operational systems.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex information structures.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to work with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Relevant degree or equivalent experience in data, computing, engineering, or information management.
