Opportunity for a Crane/Lift Supervisor (Sizewell C) working with Ballycommon on the Sizewell C Project,


Key Responsibilities:


Oversee all lifting operations on site, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
Supervise and coordinate lifting teams, ensuring efficient execution of lifts and managing resources effectively.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure all equipment used for lifting operations is properly maintained and compliant.
Work closely with site managers, engineers, and other contractors to ensure smooth coordination of lifting operations.
Ensure compliance with all relevant lifting procedures and regulations in accordance with site and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of lifting operations and ensure they are documented appropriately.


Qualifications/Experience:


At least 5 years of experience as a Lift Supervisor, preferably within large-scale civil engineering projects.
Proven track record managing lifting operations on major infrastructure or construction projects (nuclear or energy projects is a plus).
Valid Lift Supervisor CPCS (or equivalent) qualification.
Previous experience as a Lift Supervisor, ideally within large-scale civil engineering projects.
Extensive knowledge of lifting operations, including the safe use of cranes and lifting equipment.
Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations related to lifting operations.
Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate effectively with site teams.
Experience working on nuclear or energy-related sites (preferable but not essential).
Strong communication and leadership skills.
BPSS clearance or the ability to obtain it (required for access to the site).
