Construction Manager - Heavy Civils (Sizewell C)

Location: Sizewell C,  Leiston, Suffolk ( 5 days a week with some weekends).
Employment type: Permanent full-time.
Salary: Competitive dependent on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing


As a Construction Manager, you’ll oversee the re-construction of a key section of the SZC works.  you’ll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. From tactical logistics planning to stakeholder engagement, your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including:


Team Leadership 


Strategic Execution: You will be helping the PM TO Develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans.
Project Oversight: To Deliver new Projects into Sizewell C Project with Safety and quality at the forefront of our works.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success.
Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery.
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation.


What We’re Looking For


We need a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically Complex Construction and Civil Engineering projects.
Industry Expertise within Construction and Civil Engineering. 
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, on projects, and working within regulated environments.
Management Skills: Supervising Tier 1 contractors
Leadership Capabilities: Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, or other related field desirable.
SMSTS and CSCS site manager card -Essential.
