Location: Sizewell C, site-based role- hours: 13pm - 23:00 with rotating shift pattern to be reviewed and added November/December  TBC.

Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Salary: Competitive depending on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:


As a Construction Manager, you’ll oversee the re-construction of a key section of the SZC works.  you’ll lead the charge in ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery. From tactical logistics planning to stakeholder engagement, your role will encompass the entire construction lifecycle, including:


Team Leadership: Strategic Execution: you will be helping the PM TO Develop and implement detailed construction strategies and plans.
Project Oversight: To deliver new Projects into Sizewell C Project with Safety and quality at the forefront of our works.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with contractors, regulators, and government bodies to ensure project success.
Continuous Improvement: Driving innovation and embedding lessons learned to ensure world-class project delivery.
Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and a proven track record of their implementation.
 

What We’re Looking For:


We need a proven leader with a strong track record of delivering large, technically complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring:
Industry Expertise: Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, on projects, and working within regulated environments.
Management Skills: Supervising Tier 1 contractors.
Leadership Capabilities: Ability to inspire teams, resolve complex issues, and foster collaboration.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with construction methodologies, CDM Regulations, and earned value management tools.
Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
Degree and chartered status in an engineering, construction, or other related field desirable.
SMSTS Required, CSCS site manager card required
