Opportunity for a Consents Interface Manager (Sizewell C) working with Balfour Beatty on the Sizewell C project,
Salary: £65k-£77k DoE
The consent manager will be responsible for ensuring the Marine and Tunnels (M&T) and Enabling and Earthworks (E&E) Sections complies and liaises with the various licensing and consenting bodies during the design, preconstruction, construction, and handover phases of the portion. This will include working with the clients representatives who lead each of the various license and consents as well as integrating with the design and engineering teams to ensure a compliant design, and ensuring the delivery strategy is compliant.
Main Duties:
- Support the Portion to sequence and schedule the works.
- Support the Technical Managers to ensure the proposed methodology DCO / MMO / EA.
- Create a Lessons Learned and best practise documentation.
- Support the production of Portion Execution Plans
- Develop and lead the consents plan for the portion.
DCO and MMO:
- Ensuring the M&T Portion follows the DCO and MMO requirements,
- Co-ordinate and manage the MMO License application for the portion works,
- Co-ordinate and manage the M&T Portion DCO "Deed of Obligation" requirements,
- Producing the required documentation for Sizewell C Consents team
Consenting Bodies - Example list of bodies:
- Environmental Agency - Water discharge and Tunnelling application.
- Trinity House - offshore works and working zones.
- Local Authority - Local and regional Councils.
