Concrete Finisher - Responsibilities


•Finishing concrete surfaces to required levels, smoothness, and textures according to drawings and specifications.
•Working with reinforced concrete (RC) structures, including slabs, beams, columns, and walls.
• Setting out and levelling concrete using tools such as screeds, floats, and trowels.
• Placing, compacting, and curing concrete to ensure quality and durability.
• Collaborating with steel fixers to ensure proper placement of reinforcement before concrete pouring.
• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications for accurate concrete application.
• Applying surface treatments as required (e.g., curing compounds, finishes).
• Maintaining site safety standards, wearing PPE, and ensuring compliance with site rules.
• Assisting with preparation and cleaning of formwork and tools before and after concrete pours.


Applicants must have:


Must have previous experience as a concrete finisher.
A valid CSCS card blue
Previous experience working with all types of concrete
Right to work in the UK
Health and safety certificate
