Are you ready to take on an exciting role in a dynamic construction environment? As a Concrete Batcher at Eastern Concrete, you'll be responsible for timely deliveries to our customers, operating machinery and handling equipment at the plant, ensuring good health and safety practices.


Offering 45hours per week, Monday to Friday, at an hourly rate of up to £16.50.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have…


Previous batching experience or working with concrete within the Construction industry.
You will need to be able to work well under pressure with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise your own work load whilst working to tight deadlines.
Strong awareness of site safety standards and practices


Key Responsibilities:


Effectively operate our batching plant to the required standards, this includes keeping all the equipment clean and completing the required checks.
Ensure that the correct materials are used to produce the concrete and that the concrete is batched within the correct tolerances for the mix.
Check all loads prior to them leaving the plant.
Complete all documentation as required by the Company to ensure compliance and standards are met at all times.
Order materials for the following days production and control incoming stocks
Maintain effective customer relationships both internally and externally
Ensure the site, including the plant, buildings and equipment are well maintained and kept clean and tidy at all times
Supervise all staff and drivers working at the plant to ensure optimum productivity without compromising health and safety
Manage driver’s breaks and POA’s to ensure the most efficient service and delivery
