There’s a permanent opportunity for you here as a Compliance Engineer on our Sizewell site in Leiston, Suffolk


The Role

 

  • To work closely with the Site Engineering Team in Supporting the business by delivering PPMs and Reactive work orders across the site.
  • QSHE: Ensure at all times implementation of Dalkia processes, comply with the Contract's safe systems of work, Point of Work Risk Assessments and Toolbox talks completed by the Supervisor.
  • Planning: Daily Responsibility and Accountability for time keeping and productivity in order to minimise costs and maximise profits on each task. Meet agreed completion dates for all PPM's in reducing "Target Date" failures (TD's), and work within the requirements of current Health & Safety Legislation.
  • Contract Delivery: To liaise and communicate directly with the Supervisor on a daily basis and ensure the continuity and smooth running of individual PPM tasks are adhered to on a daily basis. Take ownership to Motivate, Lead and Encourage a strong Health and Safety culture and Team Building at ALL times.
  • Responsibility and Accountability for your time keeping with each task in order to minimise delays and non-compliance. To work within the budgetary restrictions of each individual task and be Accountable for delivery within time scales and costs
  • Commercial: To understand the contract deliverables and the implications of good performance and practices in order to minimising risk.
  • Reporting: To lead the understanding and utilisation of the contract CAFM system and best practice. Ensure all task are opened and closed correctly with the actual time assigned to the task. Include all electronic notes, paperwork, or photographs to substantiate the checks completed. Sense and quality check all items uploaded as required on to the CAFM system. Provide reporting/updates including the Supervisor and Contract Support teams as necessary to demonstrate the fulfilment of contract requirements. To help the production of data for inclusion within monthly report to customer in relation to both operational, health and safety and commercial aspects.
  • Customer: Build a strong customer focus among all staff, ensuring timely liaison in line with escalation policy
  • People: Actively live Dalkia vision and values to support the people management aspects of the team, including performance improvement, recognition, and support.
  • Learning & Development: Provide ongoing support and development of the team and support individual objectives as part of talent planning.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate consistently high standards of leadership, energy, and ownership as a role model for the team.


Hours of Work

 

  • Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5pm, 40 hours per week

Qualifications and Experience Required

 

  • Experience of working in a construction scenario would be beneficial as would a general maintenance background but not essential.
  • A keen interest in developing into an engineer
