Dalkia have a fantastic opportunity for a Day / Night Cleaning Supervisor to join their growing team, looking after the facilities at Sizewell C. This role will be worked over a shift rota, covering days and nights.


Hours:


Shift rota covering days and nights, 6 on, 4 off as follows:
2 early shifts (6am - 2pm), 2 late shifts (2pm - 10pm), 2 night shifts (10pm - 6am) followed by 4 days off.


General Overview


This role is based across Sizewell C. You will be responsible for cleaning all site areas to include all hard/carpeted floors, sanitary and kitchenette areas, walls, doors, fixtures, and fittings where appropriate. You will ensure that the facilities provide a safe and secure environment that enables the client's staff to concentrate on their business activities with minimum disruption.
You will be an integral part of the site maintenance team in ensuring that the Sizewell C' properties facilities run smoothly and are successful in supporting business activities and for providing a professional service for our client. 


Duties:


•    Completion of staff rotas to ensure all sites are covered
•    Collation of cleaning Operatives timesheets / annual leave requests
•    Support and train new staff members 
•    Carry out all cleaning duties as required, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of toilets, floors and periodic deep cleans.
•    Adhere to the cleaning schedule and ensure cleaning tasks are carried out in a safe and timely manner.
•    Ensure that internal facilities are maintained to a clean and hygienic condition.
•    Ensure equipment is clean and ready use.
•    Ensure the effective use of equipment and materials reporting any issues to the Site Manager.
•    Check all facilities are stocked sufficiently as required.
•    Advise of low stock levels reporting to the site manager to ensure the correct quantities are available.
•    Identify faults within the site and report them to the Site Manager.
•    Help manage and control of any cleaning chemicals according to COSHH regulations.
•    Adhere to all Company health and safety requirements and expectations.
•    Be prepared to undertake additional training to aid flexibility.
•    Undertake monthly cleaning audits and Identify areas where improvements need to be made, and ensuring these are carried out supporting the Site Manager in achieving the desired site standards.
•    Make suggestions to improve the services of the team.
•    Wear the appropriate uniforms and safety equipment where required.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and you may be required to assist the Business with other duties as appropriate, including overtime and weekend work.


Complexity


Working around Office staff who typically works from 7am - 7pm, without creating undue noise and mess. Managing the workload when other members of the team are on holiday / absent.


Qualifications or Required Experience:


•    Role in similar position preferred
•    Good communication skills
•    Attention to detail
•    Ability to work well without supervision
•    Highly motivated
•    Clean Driving License
•    Good client facing skills
•    Basic computer skills in Microsoft and Excel
