Opportunity for CPCS 360 Excavator Drivers (Wheeled) working for Ballycommon on the Sizewell C Project,


Main Duties:


Operate 360 Wheeled Excavators (Rubber Duck) safely and efficiently on a live civil engineering site
Carry out excavation works, drainage, ducting, and trenching in line with project specifications
Load/unload materials and assist with backfilling, grading, and site levelling
Work in close proximity to live services and other plant/machinery
Follow site plans and instructions from site supervisors and engineers
Conduct daily machine checks and ensure all equipment is in safe working order
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on site
Support general site duties when not operating machinery, if required


Certification:


Valid CPCS A59 (Wheeled 360 Excavator) - either Blue or Red Card is acceptable.


Experience:


Proven track record in operating the Rubber Duck on major civils/infrastructure projects.


Compliance & Safety:


Must have full PPE, a valid Safety Critical Medical (or willingness to obtain), and the legal right to work in the UK.


Vetting:


Willingness to undergo a full security and vetting process required for access to Sizewell C.


Additional:


Minimum 3 years' experience operating wheeled 360 excavators on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Experience on tier 1 or tier 2 principal contractor sites highly desirable
Strong working knowledge of safe excavation practices around services, trench support and drainage works
Experience working in high-security or nuclear-regulated environments is a bonus
Familiarity with RAMS, safety permits and lifting operations desirable
