Assistant Project Manager

Hours of Work are 08:00-17:30 Monday to Friday.


This position may require overtime during peak project phases.

 


Job Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Support project execution by tracking progress, maintaining project documentation and engaging with both suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Assist in coordinate meetings and communication among project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Identify project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Help organise project resources and allocate tasks to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards and company policies.
  • Contribute to post-project evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.

 


Qualifications

 

  • NVQ Level 6 Construction/Demolition Site Management or similar.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project management or a related role.

 


Experience

 

  • Familiarity with BS6187:2011 and prevailing construction Legislation
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Project Commander, Asta etc.).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
