Assistant Project Manager

Hours of Work are 08:00-17:30 Monday to Friday.
This position may require overtime during peak project phases.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Support project execution by tracking progress, maintaining project documentation and engaging with both suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Assist in coordinate meetings and communication among project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and vendors.
- Identify project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Help organise project resources and allocate tasks to team members.
- Ensure compliance with project standards and company policies.
- Contribute to post-project evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 6 Construction/Demolition Site Management or similar.
- 1-3 years of experience in project management or a related role.
Experience
- Familiarity with BS6187:2011 and prevailing construction Legislation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Project Commander, Asta etc.).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
