Dalkia have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our growing team at Sizewell C near Leiston.
We are looking for someone with a background in facilities, to join the team at our rapidly developing site at Sizewell C, to provide support to the Facilities Manager in managing the team, ensuring that the office facilities run smoothly and are successful in supporting business activities and providing a professional service for our client.
You will provide crucial support to the management team and the support staff, in ensuring that the building is delivering safe and compliant activities and services across the site and maintained to a high standard, allowing our client EDF to carry out successful business operations across the project.


Hours:

40 hours per week
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm


Overview of responsibilities:

•    Support the Facilities Manager with all activities and services within the property
•    Ensure a safe working environment is maintained for customers, staff and contractors and that Health and safety and EDF "lifesaving" rules are met on site.
•    Assist the Facilities Manager with planning the work of contractors and in-house teams to deliver essential core services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, cleaning, waste disposal and catering; using best allocation of team resources.
•    Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies, carrying out monthly audits on the cleaning standards and sending reports on time to the Helpdesk
•    Assisting the Facilities Manager with the delivery of a fully compliant site, supporting with uploading documents to the Helpdesk team and escalating all non-compliant elements to the compliance team. Work with the Landlord team and ensure all Landlord non compliances are also escalated. 
•    Liaising with the EDF helpdesk and other members of the wider account to ensure priorities are met.
•    Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise, including the investigation of all incidents arising on site


Qualifications:

•    IOSH Managing Safely


Qualifications / Experience:

•    Role in similar position preferred
•    Good communication skills
•    Attention to detail
•    Ability to work without supervision
•    Highly motivated
•    Clean Driving License
•    Excellent client facing skills
•    Flexible working (may be occasional need to work outside usual office hours which could include evenings or weekends)

DELIVERING: Ensuring that the maintenance is delivered in line with Imtech Inviron health and safety policies and quality procedures
CONTRIBUTING: Ensuring that the maintenance is undertaken to meet contract obligations and any issues raised are closed out in a timely fashion and manner.
DEVELOPING: Identifying training gaps and liaising with the Performance Lead to ensure that you are fully trained and competent to undertake all aspects of your job and tasks.
