The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and curious individual to join our team as an Assistant Estate Manager, supporting the delivery of land and property activities for the Sizewell C project. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build expertise in land management, property law, and infrastructure development while working alongside experienced professionals.

Whether you're early in your career or looking to take the next step, we’ll support your growth through hands-on experience, mentoring, and exposure to a wide range of property and land-related work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Learn to manage commercial land/property transactions and ensure compliance.
Assist in securing rights and access arrangements, including those under the Development Consent Order (DCO).
Work with external consultants (agents, solicitors) and help resolve land-related issues.
Gain experience in procurement and financial processes for external advisors.
Contribute to governance and health & safety compliance, including drafting reports and documentation.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and risk management activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to align land commitments and resolve conflicts.
Apply and develop knowledge of landlord and tenant law and property valuation.
Help maintain and improve our land and property database.
Build strong relationships across project teams to support successful delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine interest in infrastructure, commercial/agricultural property, and land acquisition.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
A team player with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Land Management).
RICS qualification is a plus, but not essential.

If the above sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you!

Why Join Us?

For more than 60 years, nuclear power stations in the UK have been quietly keeping Britain fuelled with massive amounts of home-grown energy.

Our teams up and down the country are proudly continuing to serve the nation – but they also have an eye on the future.

EDF is leading the UK's nuclear renaissance with the construction of a new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C and plans for a new power station at Sizewell C in Suffolk.

Nuclear power is the most reliable, low-carbon energy source currently available to the UK. EDF is playing a key role in the development of nuclear sites, while Hinkley Point C will provide low-carbon electricity to meet 7% of the UK demand. The project is already making a positive impact on the local and national economy as well as boosting skills and education.

We’re not just building new nuclear power stations. We’re developing careers, upskilling generations and creating thousands of employment and apprenticeship opportunities across a variety of skills areas.

It takes a special kind of person to work in the nuclear energy industry and although we have thousands of them there’s always a need for more.

Our industry has a mind-boggling range of opportunities and more jobs, and in more places, than you might think. But it’s also an industry which is changing.

We’re a responsible business and proud to be Britain’s biggest generator of zero carbon electricity. With size, age and experience, we believe we can do even more.
