Area Operations Controller (AOC) (Sizewell C)

Job Responsibilities
■ Administration of the team shifts Rota using company IT Software.
■ Assist in supervising that manning levels are met for all duties and ad-hoc requirements.
■ Administration of sickness and other absences inline with company policies.
■ Assistance in disciplinary matters, such as note taking.
■ Administration of contractual compliance, providing data to evidence KPI compliance as
required.
■ Calculation of site specific benefits including payroll checks.
■ Adhering to and improving administration processes and procedures.
■ Maintenance and updates of Project plans and trackers.
■ Supporting the Operations Support team and wider project team with ad hoc projects as
required.
■ Coordination of mailbox and prioritising replies.
■ General Administration support.
Skills and Competence
■ General Administration support.
■ Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and adapt to a changing environment
■ Strong interpersonal skills – building trust and support
■ Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
■ Competent IT skills, proficient in Google Suite.
■ Adherence to company policies and operating procedures.
■ Desirable: scheduling or rota management experience.
Profile
Full time role - 40 hours a week
Educational Requirements/Qualifications
■ Proficient in Maths, English and IT.
Preferred Experience
■ Experience of working within a busy office environment
■ HR, Sickness and Absence Management knowledge
■ Knowledge of employee Investigations and Disciplinary hearings in the Commercial Sector
Skills and abilities
■ Good liaison abilities
■ Identifying customer needs during service delivery
