The successful candidate will initially undertake Appointed Person duties, supporting the planning and coordination of crane and lifting operations across two key work areas within the project.


As the civils programme increases in scale, there is potential for the role to develop into a broader Lifting Superintendent position overseeing and coordinating lifting activity across the project.


Key duties


Planning and coordinating lifting operations
Producing and reviewing lift plans
Working closely with site management, Crane Supervisors and Slinger/Signallers
Ensuring lifting activities are properly planned and safely delivered
Providing technical lifting advice to project teams
Ensuring compliance with LOLER, BS 7121 and project lifting procedures
Supporting lifting operations across multiple work areas


Qualifications 


CPCS A61 Appointed Person qualification Blue Card
CPCS Lifting Supervisor
CPCS Slinger/Signaller - all duties
SSSTS


Experience in a similar role ideally on a major construction project.
