JOB PURPOSE:


Working in a busy construction environment, supporting the production and handling of precast concrete products.  This includes operating machinery and equipment for casting, finishing and moving precast elements, as well as driving a loading shovel or telehandler.  All necessary equipment and training required will be provided to perform these duties safely and efficiently at our operational sites.


MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


•    Operate machinery and equipment involved in the production of precast concrete units.
•    Pour and compact concrete into moulds in line with design specifications.
•    Assist with demoulding, finishing and curing processes.
•    Safely move and store precast elements using loading shovel or telehandler.
•    Carry out material handling tasks as instructed by site management.
•    Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance.
•    Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
•    Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed and PPE is worn at all times.
•    Work collaboratively with the production team to meet output targets.
•    Promote positive team culture within the department and with others.
•    Be responsible for own Health & Safety within the working environment, ensuring any PPE provided is worn/used appropriately and when required.
•    Any other duties as may be reasonably requested within the remit of the role.
