Recruitment Coordinator - 12 month FTC (Sizewell C)

We're at an exciting stage of our journey, and we're looking for a proactive, people-focused Recruitment Coordinator to join us as we scale. This is a standalone role where you'll have the opportunity to truly make your mark - from the very first conversation with a candidate to their first day on the job.
In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for both hiring managers and applicants, managing the full recruitment cycle for selected vacancies.
You'll be responsible for:
• Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, from authorisation to offer stage
• Partnering with line managers to define needs and agree on attraction strategies
• Writing compelling job adverts and promoting vacancies through the right channels
• Organising and supporting recruitment meetings
• Ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every candidate
• Promoting Specialist Passenger Solutions as an employer of choice on social media and other online platforms.
• Ensure effective use of all available sourcing and attraction channels.
• Coordinating, organising and conducting driver interviews and assessments.
• Establishing and maintaining appropriate contacts with third parties that may support the recruitment process.
• Ensuring that accurate job descriptions are in place before the recruitment process takes place.
• Ensuring that feedback is given to all candidates after application and interview.
• Arranging DVLA medicals for new and existing drivers.
• Implementing recruitment and training policies and procedures.
• Arrange and attend local recruitment & networking events but internally and externally.
• All Right to Work, DVLA, Safety Critical Medicals and other critical recruitment processes being followed.
• Ensuring all interviewers use the appropriate and effective recruitment assessments.

Essential:
• Knowledge of legislation covering recruitment and selection processes.
• Driving Licence
Desirable:
• L2 Recruitment Resourcer or L3 Recruitment Consultant qualification
• Knowledge of effective advertising routes to attract the best candidates.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office packages
• Knowledge of compiling job descriptions.
• Knowledge of the transport sector.
Essential:
• Previous experience in a resourcing/recruitment role.
• Experience in interviewing candidates (competency/ behavioural etc)
• Experience in facilitating and leading group assessment days.
• A flexible approach to working hours as we are a 24/7 business.
Desirable:
• Ability to build Rapport quickly with both internal and external teams.
Experience of using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
