We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Recruitment Apprentice to join our in-house Recruitment team on the CWA. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment supporting a dynamic and fast-growing project.
Our in-house recruitment team is responsible for attracting, screening, and onboarding talent across multiple disciplines including engineers, site managers, technicians, and support staff. You will be part of a collaborative team working on this flagship project.
As a Recruitment Apprentice, you will support the recruitment team with day-to-day activities, including:
• Screening CVs and applications from candidates
• Scheduling interviews and coordinating with a senior recruiter
• Maintaining recruitment databases and candidate records
• Assisting with job advert creation and posting across platforms
• Supporting the onboarding process for new employees
• Administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation
• Attending recruitment events and supporting recruitment campaigns
• Learning about legal compliance in recruitment (GDPR, employment law)
• Providing basic candidate support and managing enquiries
Qualifications
5 GCSE's at grade 4 or above including Maths and English
Currently seeking an apprenticeship, you will need to be:
• Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and online platforms
• Eager to learn about recruitment and HR processes
• Able to work as part of a team
• Reliable and professional in your approach
• Interested in the civil engineering or construction industry (desirable but not essential)
