JOB PURPOSE:
To drive a Readymix truck, delivering to a variety of sites and customers whilst adhering to Company Policies and Procedures.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of Readymix concrete to various locations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain the truck in an acceptable and clean condition.
• Work in accordance with safe working practices and legislation with regards to Driver Hours and the Working Time Directive.
• Complete required documentation, paying good attention to detail.
• Assist Site Supervisor as required at other times.
• Promote positive team culture within the department and with others.
• Be responsible for own Health & Safety within the working environment, ensuring any PPE provided is worn/used appropriately and when required.
• Any other duties as may be reasonably requested within the remit of the role.
