Main Duties:
Lead or support the integration of core Project Controls functions: cost, schedule, risk, change, and reporting.
Collaborate with the supply chain to assure and challenge performance data and controls deliverables.
Produce high-quality monthly Performance Reports, providing consistent and insightful narrative for senior management.
Drive consistency and clarity in reporting, ensuring outputs answer the key question: "So what?"
Support and, when needed, lead monthly Performance Review sessions across your area of responsibility.
Ensure adherence to the Project Controls Execution Plan and alignment with SZC's governance and delivery model.
Act as a champion for innovation, helping embed a 'Digital by Default' approach to Project Controls.
Represent the team in external forums, sharing knowledge and supporting SZC's ambition to be a Project Controls exemplar.
Requirements:
Degree (or equivalent qualification) in engineering, construction, project management, finance, or a related field.
Membership of professional bodies such as AACE, APM, or PMI.
Substantial experience as a Project Controls Engineer or Manager on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
Demonstrable expertise in multiple Project Controls disciplines, including at least two of: cost, estimating, scheduling, change management, or risk.
Proven track record in performance reporting and earned value management (EVM).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders and supply chain partners.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines.
