PMO Project Controls professional required for our client at Sizewell C.
This is based in Ipswich 3 days per week and the rest from home.
This role falls inside IR35.
Contract role to run to the end of December but likely to be longer.


Job Purpose / Overview


We are seeking a Reporting Analyst to play a key role in developing, managing, and assuring high-quality performance and management reporting across the Sizewell C project. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of managing and developing Power BI based performance reporting within a project environment across different projects and programmes. You'll be confident in managing the requirements gathering process - challenging ambiguity and ensuring clarity. Further to this, you will always prioritise and be able to demonstrate excellent design, data visualisation and layout skills. The role doesn't end at the production of a dashboard or a report - you'll need to be passionate about encouraging others to use and act on the data and insights provide.


Principal Accountabilities


• Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
• Support the production of monthly reports by providing intelligent analysis and visualising programme data in clear, easy-to-understand formats using tools such as Power BI, Excel, MS Visio, and PowerPoint
• Use data and statistical analysis to predict trends in the Delivery operations
• Actively contribute to and support the Power BI Community of Practice by sharing best practices, providing guidance, and fostering collaboration among developers across the organisation
• Adherence to the Report Development Process and the current monthly Project Controls cycle


Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience


Essential


• 2+ years of Power BI development experience including advanced knowledge of DAX & M (Power Query).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage concurrent projects, prioritise workload and hit deadlines whilst ensuring outputs of the highest quality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Excellent graphic design skills and experience of working with brand and data visualisation guidelines
• Strong team player but with ability to lead small projects and work under own initiative


Desirable


• 2+ years of experience of performance reporting within a project environment
• Experience of supporting executive meetings and boards in the preparation and timely submission of high quality reports
• Experience of reviewing supplier performance reporting & data submissions
• Experience of working with data from common corporate systems e.g. SAP, Salesforce
• Experience of working with data from common Project & Project Controls systems
• Background in an additional project controls role such as Planning, Risk Management, Cost Management, Change Management
