Warehouse Operative - Weston Super Mare

Salary : £13.85 p/h


Main Duties:


•    Demonstrating of a safety-first mind set and active engagement with safety initiatives
•    Operate MHE to unload and load deliveries into floor and racking locations
•    Preparing and completing warehouse deliveries according to schedule
•    Inventory control via use of Scan guns, Tablets and Warehouse Management System
•    Delivering high personal standards to achieve KPI's in safety, quality, performance and service
•    Taking pride in ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the operation
•    Use of various other tools; banding machine, scales and/or applicable machinery and manual support tool


Requirements:


•    Experience of working within a warehouse environment
•    Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem-solving skills
•     Ability to make recommendations for improvement
•    Enthusiastic, committed and able to respond positively to changing demand
•    MHE license(s) desirable but not essential as training will be provided
•    Career progression will be available for the right candidates
•    CITB Operatives or equivalent

•    Attention to Detail.  Accuracy in following instructions and completing tasks.  Identifying errors or defects promptly.
•    Health & Safety Awareness.  Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance.  Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
•    Time Management.  Meeting deadlines and productivity targets.  Prioritizing tasks effectively.
