Opportunity for a Heavy Plant Wash Operative working with Tru7 on the Sizewell C Project,


We are looking for a Heavy Plant Wash Operative to join our team at our Kesgrave site. The primary responsibility of this role is to clean and prepare returning plant machinery from site, ensuring it is ready for maintenance checks, repairs, rehire, or resale. This is a hands-on role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.


Main Duties:

 

  • Assist the Yard Manager in the daily operations of the yard.
  • Wash, clean, and prepare returning plant equipment to a high standard.
  • Keep the yard, plant, and equipment clean and organised.
  • Be aware of heavy equipment movements within the yard to ensure safety.


Qualifications/Experience: 

 

  • Ideally a driver with own transport.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work efficiently and take pride in maintaining equipment cleanliness.
  • Basic understanding of yard operations and safe working practices.
  • Forklift or plant tickets (preferred but not essential - training can be provided).
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team.
