Help keep Suffolk's most important infrastructure project moving...
At Suffolk Safety Solutions, we supply workwear, PPE and managed clothing solutions to Sizewell C and the contractors helping to build one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
As our operation continues to grow, we're looking for someone with a great attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn to join our team.
This is a hands-on role, working across our growing operation to help ensure customers receive the right products, at the right time, to the highest standards.
You'll join the business during an exciting period of growth, playing an important role in helping us establish the operational capability that will support the future of the company.
What does the job look like?
No two days are exactly the same, but your role will typically include:
• Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Preparing and personalising garments using our print equipment
• Carrying out quality checks before orders leave the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Supporting stock organisation and accuracy
• Helping with occasional local customer deliveries
• Identifying opportunities to improve the way we work as the business continues to grow
As the business develops, so will the role. You'll have the opportunity to learn new skills, take on new responsibilities and help shape how the operation evolves.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who:
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
• Takes pride in doing a job properly
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Is organised, reliable and dependable
• Is happy working in a practical, fast-moving environment
• Is willing to learn new skills and take on new challenges
• Enjoys solving problems and supporting colleagues
Desirable experience/qualifications include:
• Warehouse or logistics experience
• Garment printing, embroidery or personalisation experience
• Experience within PPE, workwear, manufacturing or production
• A full UK driving licence
For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK. As a project, we do not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, race, colour, religion, disability or sexual orientation, and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.
