Transformation PMO Lead (Sizewell C)

Main Duties:


•Support the Transformation Portfolio Manager with PMO activities including RAID management, reporting and maintaining a fully integrated SZC Transformation plan.
•Review and validate programme and project plans, establishing a centralised, independent mechanism for visibility, tracking and escalation.
•Monitor and confirm stage gates and key milestones across all strategic projects within the strategic plan.
•Manage portfolio-level reporting, including regular updates to the Transformation SteerCo and escalation of risks or issues as required.
•Oversee interdependencies across the Transformation Portfolio, proactively identifying and flagging potential conflicts or impacts.
•Manage the monthly Portfolio dashboard and support the Transformation Portfolio Manager with portfolio communications, stakeholder engagement and ad-hoc reporting requirements.


Qualifications & Experience


Essential


•Educated to degree level
•Proven experience in operating a Portfolio Management Office, including setting delivery standards, governance frameworks and providing day-to-day guidance across programmes and projects to ensure alignment and successful delivery.


Desirable


•Professional Qualifications: project management certifications (such as PMP, APM, or P3O).


Knowledge & Skills


Essential


•Strong understanding of project management methodologies (like Agile and PRINCE2) and planning tools such as MSP.
•Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to plan and manage interdependencies across initiatives, ensuring robust RAID management and effective change control processes.


Desirable


•Demonstratable influencing skills across diverse range of stakeholders and stakeholder management in a complex environment.
