Opportunity for a Quality Lead (Sizewell C) working with Venesky Brown on the Sizewell C Project,
This is a support position within the Sizewell C (SZC) Project Delivery Organisation (PDO) Quality function, playing a vital part in the success of its goals. You will assist Quality Leads in solving complex, challenging issues and help ensure Quality Delivery ways of working are effective in achieving right first-time delivery. In this role you will enjoy the opportunity to occasionally travel to project locations the UK to achieve close collaboration with our project team members and other stakeholders.
Reporting to the Quality Lead, this position will assist in the continual development, implementation, assessment and reporting on PDO Quality procedures and associated documents. In this role you will have numerous responsibilities to take ownership of and drive, such as developing process audit plans, implementing new methodologies to improve quality, and using problem solving techniques to identify issues.
Main Duties:
- Based in our London office with hybrid working available, travel to other sites required.
- Supporting the Quality Lead in managing daily PDO Quality QA/QC activities, including creating, reviewing and updating Quality governance, manufacturing/ construction documents.
- Responsible for the adoption and replication of quality arrangements for the project.
- Monitor the awareness and implementation of the Quality Management processes.
- Participate in Planning and supporting of the quality audits and self-assessments.
- Work collaboratively with all parties to manage and maintain PDO Quality records.
- Proactively identify, address and report quality issues, collaboratively working with the project team members for resolution.
- Support the Quality Leads to capture, track and report on PDO quality performance.
- Identify and share risks and opportunities to improve project delivery through raising and participation in Learning Reports.
- Drive improvements into the Project using industry standards and best practice to help introduce new quality concepts, approaches and tools.
- Support delivery of awareness training of PDO Quality matters to Project team members.
- Participate in the implementation of the Quality Department Digital tools.
Qualifications/Experience:
- As a minimum, educated to HNC/HND qualification level in a science/engineering based subject, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in the Manufacturing/Construction/Engineering industry.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 operating environment.
- Experience working within a /project environment.
- Experience in use of QA/QC and reporting tools.
- IT literate with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook and SharePoint.
- Willingness to travel as required within UK.
- Experience of capturing and driving continuous improvement methods and tools.
- Experience of embedding process and procedures.
