Project Controls Manager (Sizewell C)

Job Responsibilities


Lead Project Controls activities for a designated scope area or support wider programme controls delivery
Act as deputy to the Programme Controls Manager where required
Coordinate project controls disciplines to deliver integrated reporting and performance information
Liaise with supply chain partners and assure the quality of project controls data and reporting
Support progress reporting activities including schedule updates, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance improvement actions
Ensure timely production and quality assurance of month-end performance reports
Lead or support month-end performance reviews with senior stakeholders
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within project controls processes and reporting
Promote best practice project controls across the wider construction and infrastructure sector


Qualifications 


Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction, project management, finance, business analysis, or related discipline
Strong understanding and practical application of Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience delivering integrated project controls and change control processes
Proven ability to manage teams and stakeholders within matrix organisations
Strong reporting, presentation, influencing, and facilitation skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
Delivery-focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills


Desirable


Membership of AACE, PMI, APM or equivalent professional body
Experience using Power BI and project controls/reporting systems
Understanding of NEC and FIDIC contract forms
Nuclear sector experience


Experience


Minimum 15 years' experience in Project Controls roles on major infrastructure or complex capital projects
Experience across multiple Project Controls disciplines including:
Cost Control
Planning & Scheduling
Risk Management
Change Management
Estimating
