Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support. The project has started construction and is now seeking private investment. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.


Job Purpose / Overview


The Corporate Operations Directorate drives transformation and change, develops and implements strategy and increases the overall clarity and organisational efficiency of Sizewell C to support the delivery of the company's strategic aims.


The purpose of the role is to be a business performance lead within the Corporate Operations team, with a focus on developing and managing frameworks for monitoring business performance, ensuring compliance and optimising operational efficiency. The role holder will have a particular focus on organisational governance and the production and review of key corporate documentation.


Principal Accountabilities


•    Lead structured reviews of corporate documentation, including policies, governance frameworks, and operating models, ensuring clarity and compliance.
•    Develop and implement performance monitoring frameworks aligned with corporate strategy and governance standards.
•    Design and implement standard procedures for reviewing corporate documents, driving consistency and clarity in governance practices.
•    Facilitate cross-functional collaboration in refining policies and governance structures, enhancing transparency and strategic alignment.
•    Work closely with Company Secretariat, Legal/Corporate Compliance, regulatory and assurance teams to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance.
•    Manage stakeholder engagement initiatives, ensuring effective communication and alignment of governance expectations with operational execution.
•    Establish and refine processes for tracking business KPIs and driving operational efficiency.
•    Provide analytical insights to leadership to inform decision-making, governance improvements and operational adjustments.

•    Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

•    Corporate documentation review and process development.
•    Stakeholder engagement and communication.
•    Operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
•    Policy and operating model development.


Qualifications & Experience


•    Strong academic credentials from a relevant field (undergraduate degree level required as a minimum).
•    Strong foundation in governance and corporate document management.
•    Experience leading corporate documentation review processes, ensuring that policies, governance frameworks and operating models remain aligned with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
•    Expertise in performance measurement, stakeholder engagement, and governance compliance.
•    Proven experience in business performance analysis, corporate governance, or strategic planning.
•    Experience in operating model reviews and continuous improvement processes.
