Opportunity for a Hire Desk Controller (Sizewell C) working with Tru7 on the Sizewell C Project,


Position Overview:


TRU Plant, a part of the TRU7 family, is currently seeking a dedicated Hire Controller to join our team at the head office in Ipswich. As a crucial member of our Hire Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hire and sales services.


Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage on-hires and off-hires.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via telephone and email.
  • Handling incoming breakdown issues working with 3rd parties.
  • Receive, process, and organise orders and requests for collection.
  • Collaborate closely with the technical department to provide accurate information and support.
  • Generate quotations and process hire and sales orders.
  • Coordinate the planning of transport for deliveries and collections.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, promptly addressing any issues or damages.


Qualifications/Experience: 

 

  • PC literate with experience of Microsoft Systems (experience of Syrinx, Insphire or similar hire desk platforms is a plus).
  • 12 months of experience in Plant Hire Controlling is essential
  • Strong customer service skills with an excellent telephone manner.
  • PC literate with experience of Microsoft Systems (experience of Syrinx, Insphire or similar hire desk platforms is a plus).
  • 6 months UK working experience
