Opportunity for a HVAC Engineer working with VGC Group on Sizewell B (please note this role is based is Suffolk)


Location: Sizewell B Nuclear Power Station

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 37.5hrs per week
Salary :  £38,685.00
Length of Contract : Negotiable- willing to take on temporary or permanent


Main Duties : 

 

  • Routine plant maintenance, overhaul, and fault finding work on a wide range of mechanical plant equipment including- Pumps, Air Compressors, Fans, Drives, Motors, Pneumatic controls, pressurisation units' systems and electrical circuits associated with equipment. 
  • Completing Point of work Risk Assessments
  • Ensures appropriate PPE is worn/used and is in good working order


Qualifications/Experience : 

 

  • Holds City & Guilds Level III or NVQ (Essential)
  • C&G/HNC or time served in a relevant engineering discipline, factory services or similar subject
  • IOSH Managing Safely (Desirable) 
  • Reads and understands the relevant generic Risk Assessment
  • Experience in HVAC or a relevant discipline-  factory services or similar subject
