HSW Systems Advisor (Sizewell C)

In this role, you will play a critical part in establishing and upholding a world-class Safety Management System (SMS) for the CWA. You'll be working closely with both the HSW SMS Systems Lead and the Integrated Management System development team, helping to ensure safety and compliance remain central to our mission.
 

What you'll be doing:


•    Supporting the HSW SMS Systems Lead in developing an effective Safety Management System for the CWA.
•    Liaising with the IMS development team as we approach the launch of the new CWA IMS.
•    Implementing and ensuring compliance with our Safety Management System through proactive engagement, robust training, and assurance processes.
•    Building meaningful relationships across project teams and with wider stakeholders to promote a positive health and safety culture.
•    Promoting and embedding nuclear safety messages throughout the CWA team.
•    What we're looking for:
•    Proven ability to plan and manage your workload efficiently.
•    Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage across all levels of our operational structure.
•    Influential skills to nurture a constructive HSW culture, providing feedback that enables team development.
•    Solid understanding of UK Health and Safety Legislation and the ability to prepare detailed SMS reports using data and information.
•    CSCS Managers and Professionals competence.
•    Ideally, strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with good analytical abilities.


Requirements:


•    NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate is essential.
•    Experience in developing and using health and safety management systems.
•    Grad IOSH minimum
•    Ideally, you'll also hold a NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety, and have relevant experience in a health and safety role within construction or other transferable sectors.
