We have opportunities for people with excellent organisational and administrative skills to join us on the MEH Alliance in the position of Labelling Works Coordinator.  
Due the scale of the Hinkley Point C construction project, we nearly to design, produce and install nearly a million labels to cabling, terminations and containment systems.  This role will play a key part in that team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation of label schedules to include information gathering, label production (on/ off Site) and installation on site.  
  • Communicating all necessary information to label production and installation team including specifications and work instructions to facilitate performance and maximise opportunity.  
  • Liaising with the site team and Client's representation. Attending progress meetings as required.  
  • Liaising with the Label Production team and Installation Team. To capture installation needs and coordinate with production team to get the right products to achieve installation.  
  • Key player to help label production team to produce labels as per the installation sequence. 
  • Completing any other duties as required in relations to skills, activities, status etc as required by the labelling team.  
  • Liaising with necessary SME's and client counterparts  
  • To support the MEH quality team to develop inspection and test plans for the manufacture of labels.

 

Qualifications:
A HNC or above in electrical engineering or other relevant subject is preferred but not essential.

 

Experience:

  • Proficient use of IT and MS Office software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • A background in construction and/or engineering, ideally with some understanding and experience of labelling systems within construction projects.
