Are you an experienced construction professional who enjoys working outdoors and supervising a team? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you to join our Civils Construction team as a Working Construction Supervisor at Hinkley Point C.


This role is subject to Union Agreement rates, terms & conditions.


What you'll do


The main part of your job will include:


Supervising operatives and carrying out construction site activities, including excavation, pipe-laying, plant operation, groundworks, and concreting.
Ensuring all works are completed and compliant with company policies and procedures, targets are met, and health, safety and quality is always maintained.
Managing team awareness to improve safety and reduce accidents/incidents protecting our workforce from injury.
Managing interfaces with other departments, building relationships, promoting a consistent approach, technical advice, and swift resolution of any identified problems.
Working within a team that works outdoors in all weathers and deals with different challenges every day, providing a vital service to our client.
Embodying our company and client values, and promoting these values through your own and your teams' behaviours.


What you'll need


We're looking for people with a positive, can-do attitude, who will motivate and encourage our Operatives to be the best they can be.
Safety is key for us and we're looking for people who can be an ambassador for all things health, safety and wellbeing related.
Our ideal candidate will have relevant construction site supervisory experience.
Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) qualification
A variety of plant tickets
A hygiene card
Butt fusion & electro fusion qualification
WIAPS qualified
