Opportunity for a Warehouse Technician working with Mactech on the Hinkley Point C Project,


Principal Accountabilities


The warehouse technician will report to the warehouse & logistics operations lead. They will:


• Update and manage the warehouse inventory system with great accuracy.
• Receive material into inventory, move material by quantity between designated locations, and locate/pick material to/from warehouse locations as required.
• Safely operate and / or work in the vicinity of many types of equipment, such as forklifts, reach trucks, pick trucks, electric carousels.
• Use of material handling equipment to move material into, around and out of the facility
• Maintain and organize warehouse with good housekeeping ensuring MSDS compliance with all chemicals stored in warehouse has records for chemical waste collection.
• Inspection of goods and ensuring the correct quantity and quality.
• Packing and labelling items.
• Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Maintain the warehouse with good house keeping.


Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience


• Good Organizational skills, attention to detail and good physical fitness.
• Excel working in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Proficient in Office 365 tools such as Excel, Word etc.
• Understanding of inventory and processes
• Comfortable following process with a healthy questioning attitude.
• Minimum requirement of education to GCSE/ National Qualifications standards.
• Driving license.
