Opportunity for a Valve Specialist working with Bilfinger on the Hinkley Point C Project,
The Valve Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of various types of valves used in industrial applications. This role requires a deep understanding of valve mechanics, troubleshooting techniques, and industry standards.
Main Duties:
- Valve Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on valves, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Installation: Install new valves and associated equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Inspection: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure valves are operating within specified parameters.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to valve performance, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and other staff members on valve-related procedures and best practices.
