Please note: Successful candidates will be required to attend an information session at the Somerset Innovation Centre on 9th April 2026. The session will run between between the hours of 4:30pm and 6pm interviews will be conducted on this day after a short presentation

Responsibilities

• Assist with vehicle manoeuvring in designated construction material delivery areas

• Utilise electronic systems to ensure correct bookings are in place to allow access to construction delivery routes.

• Act as traffic marshal for deliveries.

• To utilise the bell-to-bell recording system for each shift as directed by your line manager.

• To ensure that you wear the correct PPE and your HPC ID pass is always on display while at work.

• Use Fulcrum (digital scheduling tool) to ensure the correct booking slots are complied with and work with all  stakeholders that need access to delivery areas - training given.

• Any additional reasonable duties requested by your supervisor.


Qualifications

• CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before the start date)

• Good IT skills

• CPCS Traffic Marshal qualification (or willing to work towards).


Experience 

• Good written and verbal communication

• Ability to understand Safe Systems of work

• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in unsafe conditions.

• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation

• Reliability - maintain a good work ethic and routine

• Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.

• An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors' or colleagues needs.
