Opportunity for a Time Writer working with Bilfinger on the Hinkley Point C Project,


Main Duties:

 

  • To ensure accurate worked hours and absences are recorded in a timely manner in support of site operations and to provide accurate data to payroll in support of ensuring employees are paid on time and in full.
  • On a weekly basis, time writers must enter accurate worked hours and absences into the Mpower system. Review and chase missing sheets of personnel in time writers team.
  • Issue timesheets to the relevant agencies to process payment.
  • Complete relevant section of Onboarding, off boarding, transfer checklists and submit as soon as possible but by no later than 2:00pm each Friday to HRSSC.b-uk@bilfinger.com
  • Hours recorded to job numbers, authorized absence and holidays are to be recorded for both agency workers and direct employees on a weekly basis.
  • Absences report must both be time written for and notified to the HR Department by email to the Senior HR Advisor. This includes forwarding copies of self- certification forms, Doctor's notes and other absence forms.
  • All data entries in Mpower are to be completed by no later than 2.00pm each Friday (or as varied by payroll on such occasions as Public Holidays etc.).It is best practice to have all timesheets collated by Friday morning to reduce the risk of missed deadlines.
  • Where a deadline has been missed or an amendment to that weekly submission is needed, time writers must do this by noon on the following Tuesday in order for it to be included in that week's payroll.
  • Complete the weekly timesheet audits for supply to the client auditor.
  • Ensure all worked hours and absences are accurately entered into the Mpower system weekly.
  • Review and chase any missing timesheets from personnel.
  • Submit completed onboarding, offboarding, and transfer checklists to HRSSC by 2:00pm each Friday.
  • Ensure all data entries in Mpower are completed by 2:00pm each Friday (or as varied by payroll).

Qualifications/Experience:
