NG Bailey are proud to be involved in the Hinkley Point C project based in BridgwaterSomerset.  This is the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain providing zero-carbon electricity for around six million homes. NG Bailey, the UK’s leading independent engineering and services business, are a part of the MEH Alliance, a joint venture to deliver the mechanical, electrical and HVAC installation for the project.

 

As part of recent growth on this project, we are looking for Technical Administrators/Welding Coordinators to deliver Construction pre & post documentation and raise inspection requests to support the MEH Alliance programme.

 

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Operate and administer the Welding Management System for the Project/ Contract site operations. 
  • Transfer all required data into the Welding Management System. 
  • Generate site specific weld process control cards in line with afore mentioned weld procedures. 
  • Create a TQS and Weld IDs  
  • Create Work Orders (generate WPCC/PWHT & NDE Requests) 
  • Feedback and maintain welding activities, results, and records.  
  • Maintain welding records, including document registers and dashboards  
  • Maintain work files containing the necessary documentation. 
  • Interact with all other departments associated with welding operations. 
  • Assist with analysis of welding and NDT data and KPI’s. 
  • Incorporate/address pertinent lessons learned from previous activities. 

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Prior experience coordinating engineering activities (preferably welding).
  • Previous experience managing technical documentation and records.
  • Strong IT and communication skills.
  • Great attention to detail and ability to follow strict compliance processes.
