Salary: Starting from £28,000 

 

Working Hours:  39 hours on average per week (Monday to Friday)  

 

  

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a System Administrator at Hinkley Point C.  

 


As a System Administrator, you will be dealing with on-site distribution of construction materials. You will be responsible to support Wilson James working on Fulcrum software and third party Asst Tagz software. Reporting to the Senior Data & Digital Coordinator you will require technical acumen and experience managing software and hardware to maintain operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Maintain the Fulcrum and the Asset tagz software.  
  • Responsible for delivering the Wilson James HPC helpdesk 
  • Responsible for the deployed hardware in support of system capability on site. 
  • Deliver ‘up-time' KPIs for the systems. 
  • Ensure system training is delivered to all users through the MyLearn Platform.  
  • Ensure Wilson James cyber security protocols are maintained in line with policies.  
  • Ensure system continuous improvement plan is drafted and delivered to support the operational CI plan.  

 

 

What do we need from you:  

 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

 

Essential   

 

  • CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before the start date)  
  • Knowledge of working on digital tools (TMS/DMS) and reporting experience.  
  • Experience working with Delivery Management System and softwares. 
  • Experience working on ServiceNow/Talk too management portals. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Excellent organisational skills. 

 

 

Desirable  

 

  • Experience with Software Development  
  • Working knowledge of Power BI dashboards 

 

 

Site Specific Information:  

 

  • You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for the vetting process in line with HPC protocols.  
  • You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.  
  • The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
