Structural Steel Engineer (Setting Out)

Mactech Engineering & Inspection 

Hinkley Point C 

 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Setting out, levelling, and positioning of all steel structures/materials within work scope and tolerances
• Working with Clients engineers to meet project timelines and specifications
• Production of as-built drawings and survey information as per contract specifications
• Problem-solving and raising technical queries on design issues
• Ensuring compliance with Company Operating Procedures, Quality Assurance, and Statutory Safety Legislation
• Surveying primary structures before support welding commences
• Conducting post-erection surveys and compiling as-built surveys in a timely manner

 

 

 

Qualifications & Experiences: 

• Previous experience as a Site / Setting out engineer
• Prior experience managing Steel structure projects
• Strong understanding of engineering principles
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and site layouts
• Experience with NSSS standards
• Available to work on-site

  • Circa £80,000 salary
