Fixed Term

Salary: £50,441.16

40 hours per week 

 

Supporting the Head of Soft Services , you will take full responsibility for the delivery of Housekeeping services. The Soft Services Lead must possess good communication skills and the ability to manage and organize their team as well as ensuring that good customer relationships are maintained. You will be expected to have an excellent working knowledge of the contract and the relevant KPI's applicable to the service lines for which you are responsible.

Job responsibilities:

  • To develop, improve and maintain an exceptionally strong working relationship with client contacts, subcontractors, suppliers and G4S staff
  • To manage and allocate resources to meet daily delivery schedules and business requirements for these services within the prescribed budget
  • To work closely with the client, offering and sharing advice & knowledge, taking a joined up approach in relation to FM service delivery</p>
  • To lead and develop a multi skilled team to meet both the client and operational demands.
  • To ensure that robust procedures and processes are in place and adhered to in order to maintain staffing levels appropriate to contractual requirements.
  • To assist the Head of Soft Services in managing the departmental budget
  • To assist the Head of Soft Services in the collating of monthly and annual reports for ultimate submission to the client outlining; activities, achievements and general operational performance for the reporting period
  • To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at work act</p>
  • To comply with all G4S & Hinkley Point C policies and process as required</p>
  • To assist with the mobilisation of new services
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested.
  • To coach and develop the housekeeping team of days and night supervisors (direct reports)
  • To co-ordinate the services of sub-contractors, and to monitor the service delivery and effectiveness.

 

Skills & Personal Attributes:

  • Able to develop a quick and in-depth understanding of the contract requirements and obligations relating to the relevant service lines
  • The ability to allocate & monitor workloads according to the contract demands
  • Good people management skills and experience in managing a team
  • Excellent IT skills and a working knowledge of corporate systems

 

Desirable Attributes:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience of leading and developing a team
