Role Purpose: 
The Compounds Project Assistant is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring the delivery & deployment of MEH offices & facilities. 

 

This role assists MEH Compounds PM by coordinating project activities, managing project documentation, and ensuring that project tasks are completed on time and within scope.

 

The Project Assistant works closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication, track progress, and help achieve project objectives.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Project Support and Coordination:
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and timelines.
    • Coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and aligned with project goals.
    • Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the Project Manager.
    • Schedule and organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
    • Prepare regular status reports and update project stakeholders on progress.
    • Ensure all project documentation is properly stored and accessible to relevant team members.
    • Assist in the preparation of project presentations and materials.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Serve as a point of contact for project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
    • Facilitate effective communication between project team members and other departments.
    • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations and addressing any concerns.
    • Ensure that all project communications are clear, timely, and accurate.


Key Deliverables:

  1. supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of MEH Compounds Projects 
  2. assists Compounds Project Manager by coordinating project activities, managing project documentation, and ensuring that project tasks are completed on time and within scope
  3. works closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication, track progress, and help achieve project objectives


Minimum Qualifications/ Experience (in line with MEH Onboarding Matrix)

  1. Level 3 qualification in Engineering, Business or Project related subject (minimum)
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (desirable). 

Additional Qualifications/ Experience:

  1. Knowledge of Building Regs, Fire Regs, BS5975 &  BS5395 (desirable)
  2. L144 (CDM) in depth knowledge (desirable)
  3. SSSTS/SMSTS (desirable)
