Bilfinger UK are looking for a Site Project Manager to join us on Hinkley Point C on a permanent basis. This will be a busy, exciting and challenging role for the successful candidate as we move into the next phase of work on site. 


•    The Site Project Manager is responsible for all technical and resource activities on site to ensure the execution of the construction phase of the contract in line with regulatory, contractual and legislative requirements.
•    Execution of the contract during the construction phase on site in line with contractual and commercial arrangements
•    Execution of erection/ installations in full compliance with the planned performance and the corresponding cost objectives; professional performance in due time in line with quality standards.
•    Coordination of resources, functions (according to organisation chart site) and interfaces (customer, other enterprises) and Subcontractors during the execution of construction.
•    Responsibly for the creation of an adequate infrastructure on site to ensure a safe and accessible working environment
•    Represent BPT UK in all regulatory and contractual issues with customers, authorities and third parties in relation to specific project(s).
•    Ensure all of the Health and safety, accident prevention regulations and compliance activities are consistently maintained and observed across project resources and teams.
•    Actively communicate with Project Management, Client representatives, Trades Unions and other stakeholders to deliver projects.
•    Prepare and deliver reporting requirements in line with contractual arrangements and for ad hoc purposes.
•    Preparation of required Work Schedules, planning and managing resource requirements to ensure timely delivery of the project; identifying any potential risks and barriers to planned site activities.
•    Ensure people resources engaged and available on site to deliver prescribed project activities in line with project budgets and timescales.
•    Lead and manage resources on site in a fair and transparent way in line with HR, IR, ED&I practices and procedures.
•    Ensure all activities are compliant with regulatory requirements, timescales and budgets.
•    Builds effective relationships with the client and other BUK Stakeholders ensure the project(s) are consistently managed and updated to meet contractual requirements.
•    Ensure all site project activities are compliant with Quality standards, HSE and IR and environmental regulations


Requirements:


Previous experience on a nuclear site would be preferred
