Project Manager

In the UK we are currently over 300 strong and our plans are to grow to 400-500 by 2025 through the development our UK nuclear service offerings.
Framatome Ltd are continuing to recruit for our HPC and SZB/ SZC projects and therefore, we are looking to add to our Project Management team at Hinkley Point C. 


Reporting to the Head of PMO, the Project Manager will ensure assigned projects are planned and delivered in line with agreed contractual obligations and expectations with the intention to create a positive and collaborative client relationship
The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects, this will includes, but is not limited to, the following aspects:

 

  • Ensure projects are executed and controlled according to the best practices, meet customer requirements and minimise risks for the business
  • Develop and take responsibility for the project management processes of Framatome Ltd in line with management system and best practice in UK
  • Directly manage or participate in specific projects and bids in all aspects related to project management, project control, contract management, site management, site work delivery planning, HSE/CDM advisory
  • Develop, lead and supervise site teams in accordance to projects needs
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders including third parties/vendors


To be considered, we are looking for the following qualifications, skills and experience:

 

  • HND in Engineering or equivalent
  • Prince 2 or APM Qualified
  • NVQ Level 3 Leadership & Management (desirable)
  • Member of appropriate professional body (APM, PMI, CIOB, etc.)
  • CSCS Managers & Professionals
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • SMSTS would be an advantage.
  • Good understand of Project control and Planning (Primavera and MS Project)
  • Experience of managing Manufacturing and supply of equipment projects between of £1 - 5M, site work would be an advantage.
  • Experience of managing projects in excess of £1M
  • Cost, finance system and tools knowledge including costs control and financial reporting.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft software 
  • Experience in fabrication and welding of Stainless-steel equipment
  • Knowledge of working with R-CCM, interpreting specifications and technical standards
  • Experience of highly regulated industries, nuclear being a distinct advantage. Knowledge of Health & Safety regulation in particular CDM
  • Knowledge of investigating incidents and non-conformances
