This role is to work for the newly formed Severfield Nuclear and Infrastructure division to be based at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, Somerset. 


Severfield is widely recognised for its iconic structures and engineering excellence.
Our projects include varied sports stadia, innovative bridges, national infrastructure, and many buildings that shape city skylines across the UK.
As a Site Manager your role is to effectively manage the site-based activities safely, efficiently, within budget and to schedule and to ensure this is undertaken consistent with company procedures, good practice, and statutory legislation and to contractual obligations.

 

  • You will manage the programme and monitor the progress of the site activities and take action to ensure progressive deadlines are met in accordance with the programme requirements and ensure an on-time Project Delivery.
  • You will manage Client expectations and to be the first port of call for the client and provide support to Project Team at meetings and manage labour control across the site by reviewing all labour and plant equipment levels on an ongoing basis and keep to an effective and efficient level.
  • At Severfield, safety is paramount and is embedded in all aspects of our work, therefore an essential part of this role is to ensure safety compliance of all the construction elements under your control. You will be required to obtain full security clearance for this role if you do not already hold it.


42hrs per week Monday to Friday


To be successful in this role you'll need to have:

 

  • A construction related degree or equivalent.
  • ECITB CCNSG 2 Day Safety Passport or CITB HSE Test MAPS
  • Minimum of 5 years' construction experience and have previous site management experience within the steelwork industry.
