The Role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be responsible for dealing with technical challenges from a mechanical standpoint on the largest construction project in Europe.

 

Day to day, you’ll provide mechanical expertise relating to but not limited to Piping, HVAC, Pumps and Heat Exchanges on the HPC project. 

•    Support the building lead in construction planning, engineering and works progression
•    Deliver discipline specific construction work packs to support MEH construction activities. 
•    Liaising with necessary SME’s and a client counterparts
•    Ensuring documents are compliant with latest works information

 

Essential experience of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:

•    Experience in a construction / site management role 
•    Nuclear experience preferred although not essential 
•    Broad mechanical engineering knowledge 
•    Experience of delivering on large scale construction projects 

 

Full Time, 37-hours per week, site based with allowances for Travel

 

 

 

Qualifications of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:

•    Degree in mechanical engineering or construction preferred 
•    IOSH Managing Safely 

 

 

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance level for this role.
