Contract Type: Permanent   

Salary: Starting from £36,000   

Working Hours: 39 hours on average per week.  9 days across 2 weeks (Monday to Friday on week 1 & Monday to Thursday on week 2).  

 

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Senior Data & Digital Coordinator at Hinkley Point C.  


As a Senior Data & Digital Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering digitally enabled solutions to the Final Mile Logistics operation at Hinkley Point C. This includes capturing automated data insights for the Control Tower, enhancing digital capability within the nuclear construction space, developing applications to optimise data capture through automation and limited manual intervention and integrating hardware and software solutions to support construction logistics operations.  You will play a critical role in developing digital innovations that improve operational efficiency, data visualisation and integration with client metrics.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring a full operational data stream is available to the Wilson James Control Tower  
  • Develop a digital roadmap to enhance data capture capability and support logistics operations   
  • Drive automation initiatives to maximise operational productivity through innovation, reducing manual interventions  
  • Integrate various operational systems (e.g. Fulcrum, Power BI, DOMO, RAM Tracking)  
  • Develop bespoke applications to support the operation and integrate with existing systems  
  • Collaborate with other Wilson James sites (e.g., Heathrow Airport) to ensure a consistent approach to digital innovation   

 

What do we need from you: 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications 

Essential   

  • CITB Operative H&S test (to be completed before start date)  
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, critical thinking, numerical, and problem-solving  
  • Skilled in problem identification and generating digital solutions  
  • Strong ability to interpret complex operations data and generate actionable insights  
  • Experience with application development and integration 

Desirable  

  • Experience with real-time monitoring tools, analytics platforms, and logistics technologies 
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process enhancements for efficiency and cost reduction  
  • Experience of using Fulcrum (Delivery & Inventory Management Systems).  
  • Power BI/DOMO (Business Intelligence Analytics)  

 

Site Specific Information: 

  • You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for the vetting process in line with HPC protocols.  
  • You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.  
  • The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
