Job responsibilities:

  • We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Scheduling Coordinator at Hinkley Point C.
  • You will be coordinating all vehicle and material movement up to building access areas, including controlling unloading activities. You will be a quick learner as in this role you will be required to use a bespoke delivery management system as well as utilise various vehicle and material management trackers to create forecasts and daily coordination plans supporting our client and other departments. 
  • This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who wants to join us who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work across a diverse set of businesses. You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.


Qualifications:

  • CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before the start date).


Experience:

  • Previous experience using Delivery Management Systems
  • Working within a construction site
  • Radio communication confidence
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Good IT skills and understanding of booking software
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly under pressure
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work with other internal processes and systems.

 

Additional Information

  • You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols
  • You must be able to obtain the HPC pass
  • The site is located remotely and a bus journey of approximately 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
