Location: Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset 

Contract Type: Permanent  

Salary: Starting from £36,000 per annum (depending on experience) 

Working Hours: 

  • 39 hours per week. 
  • 9 days across 2 weeks (Monday to Friday on week 1 & Monday to Thursday on week 2).

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Scheduling Coordination Team Leader at Hinkley Point C. 

 

 

As a Scheduling Coordination Team Leader, you will be overseeing the Delivery Coordination team and ensuring adherence to client and Wilson James (WJ) Delivery Management processes.  

Reporting to the Logistics Coordination Manager you will lead a team of schedulers, oversee KPI reporting, and continuously seek process enhancements through the Wilson James Fulcrum Delivery Management System (DMS).

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide daily supervision of the Logistics Coordinators, ensuring tasks are distributed efficiently 
  • Act as a Fulcrum (DMS) super-user, responsible for system improvements and fault reporting 
  • Oversee transport scheduling and freight forecasting, supporting the Delivery Coordination Manager in planning 
  • Collaborate with the Wilson James Fulcrum development team to implement changing HPC site requirements into the Fulcrum App 
  • Accountable for generating and communicating forecasting data and KPI reports 
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and performance 
  • Represent Wilson James in critical client meetings, or arrange attendance, ensuring key logistics objectives are met. 

 

 

What do we need from you: 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications 

 

Essential  

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role  
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with scheduling software and logistics systems 
  • Ability to manage conflict and handle difficult situations effectively 
  • Experience in radio communications for operational coordination 
  • CITB Operative H&S test (must be completed before the start date) 

 

Desirable 

  • Experience working within a construction site or logistics compound 
  • Previous experience using scheduling systems or similar software 
  • Higher education, supervisory or management qualification 

 

 

Site Specific Information: 

  • You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history required for the vetting process in line with HPC protocols. 
  • You must be able to obtain the HPC pass. 
  • The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
